As brand licensing became more of a focus for the company, Schumacher licensed Waverly finished product, a major supplier of inventory for the fabric stores. Without this inventory to drive sales the company closed three stores and sold the remaining locations.
Loomcraft Textile and Supply Company, a privately owned third generation fabric company established in 1950 with distribution in Burlington, N.C. now owns three Interior Alternative fabric outlet locations and a Loomcraft fabric store in Vernon Hills, Illinois. Besides our online outlet store, look for our newest opening in our Burlington, N.C. location.
We have hundreds of thousands of yards of beautiful fabrics in each location, many at below wholesale prices everyday. Our web site is operated from our 16,500 square foot Newark, Delaware location.
